Lavinia Branca Snyder is an Italian-American artist, writer, investor, and philanthropist who currently serves as President of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering. She has also written several children’s books and serves as a trustee of the Brian and Lavinia Snyder Foundation as well as founded JAR Project Space, an art gallery based in New York City.
Snyder has worked with countless philanthropic organizations including the Southhampton Fresh Air Home and the Women’s Refugee Commission. Last month, The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering held its annual Spring Ball celebrating the 70th anniversary of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s volunteer service with 400 guests in attendance. Snyder continues to work hard on raising money to find a cure for cancer.
